INOvent Bedside Delivery System |
INOMAX® is a vasodilator, which, in conjunction with ventilatory support and other appropriate agents, is indicated for the treatment of term and near-term (>34 weeks gestation) neonates with hypoxic respiratory failure associated with clinical or echocardiographic evidence of pulmonary hypertension, where it improves oxygenation and reduces the need for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
INOMAX Important Safety Information (ISI)
INOMAX should not be used in the treatment of neonates known to be dependent on right-to-left shunting of blood

INOvent
INOvent was the first commercially available NO delivery device that integrated the INOMAX delivery system with comprehensive monitoring for safe use at bedside in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
INOvent delivers INOMAX into the inspiratory limb of the patient breathing circuit in a way that provides a constant concentration of INOMAX, as set by the user, to the patient throughout the inspired breath.
INOvent provides accurate, reliable delivery of INOMAX (nitric oxide) for inhalation
- Uses a specially designed injector module for tracking ventilator waveforms and delivering a synchronized and proportional dose of INOMAX
- Features continuous inline integrated monitoring of delivered O2, NO2 and NO, and a comprehensive alarm system
- Employs an interactive control panel and display with simple-to-understand interface for operation of the INOvent delivery system
- Delivers uninterrupted INOMAX (from a fully charged battery) for up to 3 hours without external A/C power
- Offers an integrated manual INOMAX delivery system for administration of a fixed concentration of NO/O2 therapy with a resuscitator bag
INOvent is compatible with many of your ventilation and respiratory strategies
INOVENT drug delivery is compatible with over 30 mechanical ventilation methods and noninvasive respiratory strategies, including nasal cannula,* and is equipped with safety sensors for monitoring nitric oxide (NO), oxygen (O2), and nitrogen dioxide (NO2).
